PMI Exam eligibility period expiry

I submitted and paid for the exam but I yet to schedule it. Recently I'm very busy due to personal and work commitment.
What will happen if the exam eligibilty period expired?

I'm in the same boat, expires
I'm in the same boat, expires end of March. Would love to hear the answer. Have scheduled exam for 3/1, figuring if I fail, I have 4 more weeks to take again, but what is the implication if we don't take and pass exam in alloted timeframe?
