The team has been having issues with work being done as intended because of scope misinterpretation. They are considering using a work Authorization system. What is the main purpose of utilizing a work Authorization system?
A. To show who is responsible for what work
B. To serve as a time tracking system
C. To control Gold plating
D. To show what work is to be done in the project.
Pls explain ur answers

Work authorization system is to ensure that th work is done at the right time and in the proper sequence.
a) ruled out - This is RAM
d) to show what work is done in the project casn be figured out using the scope baseline, so this is also ruled out
c) gold plating - work authorization system can be used to prevent scope creep and gold plating, right answer
4) time tracking system - little confuse about it but its related to control schedule i guess

The WAS surely contains
The WAS surely contains details of work to be performed (A) and the order in which they are carried out.
It may also contain who is assigned the job(B), but this is mainly in the RAM.
The MAIN RATIONAL (BENEFIT) behind having a WAS should be to prevent unecessary creeps -C- 'cos we know what work is to be done and the timing of the work too.

Thanks for the link. I was more informed especially the difference btw "WAS' and "WA."
Also, I was trying to compare the 2 answers on what the main purpose of WAS is:
(i) "To control Gold plating" and
(ii) "Clarify and initiate the work for each work package"
Once their is a clear definition on what pple are supposed to do, the effect of goldplatting will be minimized.
