Pls go through the 2 sample questions(sample1 & sample2) b4 addressing this q with explanations

Sample q1:

You are in the middle of executing a major modification to an existing product when you learnt that the resources promised at the beginning of the project are not available. The BEST thing to do is:

A: Show how the resources were originally promised to your project

B: Replan the project without the resources

C: Explain the impact if the promised resources are not made available

D: Crash the project

Sample q2

The project manager has just received  a change from the customer that does not affect the project schedule and is easy to complete. What should the project manager do first?

A: Make the change happen as soon as possible

B: Contact the project sponsor for permission

C: Go to the change control board

D: Evaluate the impacts on other constraints

I would go for

C: make sure the impact of the change is understood by the stakeholder?

b, COMPLETE INTEGRATED CHANGE CONTROL

 I think C is correct.

B has no meaning.

below 2 answers are also right and no contradiction is there.

I would go for C - Make sure Stakeholders is aware of impact.

I deliberately included the 2 sample questions as a check... The options in bold are the correct answers.

But I would be gratefull for explanations concerning the first question.. Why B, or C?

when the evaluation of the requested scope is complete, next step should be integrated change control.

It cannot be C as the evaluation of the change is already complete which will be done with the stakeholders.

C, because Question is asking for What should the PM do next, and before you should write a Change request or present it to CCB, you should do an impact analysis and make sure Stakeholders understands the consequences.

Its B - you are in Control Scope process, output of this process is CR, you done the impact analysis of CR and got to CCB for approval, once it get approved or rejected then you go to SH and make sure that change are understood correctly.

Given answer is B;

So, to evaluate a scope change includes (i)to  verify the scope requested (ii)clearly specifying what the impact might be (ii) creating options (v) DISCUSSING WITH THE STAKEHOLDER AND ENSURING HE/SHE UNDERSTANDS THE IMPACT OF SUCH REQUEST

The NEXT LOGICAL STEP THEN IS "PERFOMR INTEGRATED CHANGE"

Pls let me know if the iterated steps above are correct...
