Tomorrow is my PMP exam

Friends

Tomorrow is my date.At 0400 PM, I am having appointment at prometric center.

I took last 5 days off, preparing for this big event.

I studied PMBOK, attended 05 days preparatory course and covered Rita's fast track simulation software and book.I am able to score around 70% in Rita's simulator exams.

I am having some trouble in input/putput-but over all I have done my best.

Today evening,I am having a session with a project tutor to clear my understnading on AON and AOA diagrams.

Let me see how I fare tomorrow.

I will come with my exp tomorrow.

I have been reading the activities in the forum-but just now become a member.

Friends,

Thanks for your wishes.

Today I reported to the center at 1530 hrs. I started the exam at 1545 Hrs and dumped pg 43 of PMBOK and all formulas,  important data etc in 15 minutes in the sheet supplied.

I finished 1st 50 Questions in 40 Min  and took 5 min break. It became tougher  and took 50 mins for next 50 Q. I finished 150 Q at 2Hrs and finished the exam at 3hrs flat. I reviewed the answers in 30 Mins and submitted my paper after 210 Mins (3.5 hrs). Then there were 10 survey questions. My result is -

Below Proficient in Initiation, Planning and Executing;

Moderately proficient in M & C, Closing and P & S responsibility;

And the result was - PASS

My suggestion is study Rita cover to cover. The questions are at expert level and more into concepts. Rather than broad study, selective deep study will be better.

Thanks to this website, though I am a new member, i was reading regularly and it was vastly helpful.

Best wishes!

Good work & welcome to PMI community.

I'm a regular reader too & occasionally respond to some questions. I owe a lot to this site (PMZilla) and I try to help my best to PMP aspirants.

Congrats and great to hear that you cleared PMP. How were the questions compared to Rita fast track.

I feel Rita's book alone with some back ground in projects will do. The questions regarding CV,SV,CPI,SPI, EV,PV etc very simple. Also the ES ,LS & EF,LF concepts were simple.The questions that troubled me was input/output & tools used.Some long winding questions really make you mad.I was hoping for proficency level-but honestly my result shocked me. I wish PMI had supplied the answers before letting you go, so that you can enhance your knowledge.

I owe a lot to Rita- alas!   She is no more.

I would recommend using only Rita and professional web sites like PM Zilla to crack the exam.

I can say one thing with confidence.Some body with mere bookish knowledge can never make it.

Some questions were real tough and some were crazy.

I am afraid to share some real questions that bog my mind.I just  am curious to know the answers!!

RITA IS GREAT!!
