Rita BOOK

My QUestion is, is it possible to pass the exam using RITA BOOK Only ??

please advice

Hi loayhannouneh,

I don't have any experience preparing to crack PMP. From my personal research and other forum threads, I'm responding to your question.

Rita's book helps you to understand the project management concepts easily. But PMBOK is a mandatory reference book which you can't avoid before attempting for PMP.

No, please combine it with PMBOK as advised by many successful PMP Certified Project Managers in this forum.

Not a good Idea to skip PMBoK.

Thanks but my issue that it is a tough book

Many thanks

You have to read from multiple sources. PMBOK is a bible. I will say do not read Rita but read PMBOK.

My personal experience has not been good with PMBOK. It is a difficult book to start with.

My recommendation is that one should go thru Rita's book a couple of times. Subsequently, have a very quick glance thru PMBOK and identify the areas which were either not covered or not well elaborated in Rita's book. Rita has not covered certain areas which do appear in the exam.

In my opinion one needs to be selective on studying PMBOK. For sure, one cannot completely avoid reading PMBOK for PMP examination.
