Passed with 5Ps - first attempt

Dear All,

Passed PMP today. 5Ps.

First of all thanks to my friends and family to keep me motivated.

Thanks to this forum, I came to know many aspects , material source etc because of this only.

Now it is my turn to contribute:

I referred : Andy Crowes, PMBoK , Rita fast track (all questions by process groups).

What helped : Experience (I have worked on procurement, vendor management etc), easy language of Andy crowes and advice from this forum to read PMBoK. Rita fast track questions in plugging the gaps.

Mock tests referred :

Rita super PMP 62 *M&C and Planning scores low

PMZilla Tough 30 66

Oliver 75 78.6

Scordo18 70

Prepcast Numericals 84

Scordo17 78

PMPforsure Free 69 *2 BP in Initiating and closing

Oliver 175 82.2 50% in closing

PM Study 81 HR 58%, Risk 72, Integ 73

Use all the mock tests for plugging the gap.

Use Oliver 175 and PM Study for gauging the preparation level.

Use PMPforsure to gauge level of preparation by process group.

PMStudy is nearest to the PMP exam.

Actual test :

Easy like PMStudy, covering all areas.

I finished in 2 Hrs 30 mins and then reviewed around 25 marked questions and finished exam in 3 Hrs.

less than 10% questions were lengthy.

(I have noticed from this forum that actual test does not have a set pattern)

Hope this helps.

Let me know if you need further help.

Regards,

Deepak

Can you give some insight as to the break down of the questions you faced?
