Help me with this question.

I have difficulty with this question.Please see below.

Question:Which of the follwing is needed to develop detailed project cost estimate?

A.  Management plan

B. Resource requirement 

C. Project charter

D.   Cost plan

Answer given is  B.

So my understanding is this is "Estimate cost" process under Project Cost management.

I do not see  resource requiremet is input to this process.

Can anyone explain how come Resource requirement is the answer .Please help me here.

Hi, I think the answer is really in the wording of the other 3 options.


A.  Management plan- there is no such thing as "management plan" as input to estimate cost 


B. Resource requirement - "resources " are an input to estimate costs through Project schedule PMBOK 170


C. Project charter - the queston askes for "Detailed" project cost


D.   Cost plan - there is no such thing as a "cost plan" as input to estimate cost

 Yes ,you are right.Human resource plan is the input for this process.So Resource requirement is the one.
