passed PMP on Nov-28 (3P, 2MP)

Hello All,

I have passed PMP on Nov-28 with 3P,2MP.

Let me put here some tips from my side.

First of all, all of you reading this post are very lucky as pmzilla is such a gr8 forum for PMp prep. I got to know this only a week ago.
but it helped me a lot..especially lessons learnt.

Books:
PMBOK
Kidman
Joseph Phillips
But I will suggest read Rita too (although I didnt do it)

Exams:
I found following exams useful
pmstudy (77%)
pmpbanks(70%)
Lehmann (69%)
Headfirst(76%)
preparePM (72%)
Scordo (70% +)

Compare your scores with this and my final score.

More or less, you will get the similar. I compared using others' mock test score and was confident to get 2-3 P and remaining MPs.
(if someone gets consistently 80% +, very high chances of all P or 4Ps, 70-80% - 2/3 P, 65-70% - pass on edge with mostly MPs)

ANd last but not least, Christopher Scordo. Please do take these tests whenever you feel that you completed reading PMBOK :).
I solved test 13 to 18 and it helped me to cover points which generally we tend to miss out while reading PMBOK (and many of those minor points are not covered in other mock exams).

My PMP exam:
~ 10-12 questions on cost formulae...(luckily my forte)
~ 4-5 Qs: org structures
~ 7-8 : each on Quality and risk

7-8 : ITTO
luckily I didn't get any Q regd Proff social responsibility (I guess one of them was related to it but no other q)

during exams:
Lot of people gave very nice tips about this on this forum. I am listing whichever i remembered and followed:
during breaks, do some stretch-out. helps to freshen up.
wash face with water
if possible, drink lime juice/fruit juice during break (I couldnt get this :( )
enough sleep on exam day (I had to travel to Mumbai by early morning train on exam day and hence couldnt get this. It impacted a bit during my afternoon exam)
no study on exam day and one day prior
I didnt use brain dump but most of the ppl here are doing it. If you are comfortable with that, pls do so in first 15 minutes. I just calmed myself in those 15 minutes.

Last but not least: keep visiting pmzilla and get encouraged by other's experiences.

Finally, thanks a lot to all the members of pmzilla who contributed to this forum. You guys might not be knowing how imp your posts are to people like me.

Thanks and all the best,

 Congrats
