Passed on 27th Nov

Hi All ,Passed on 27th Nov with 3MP and 2P , will update the LL shortly .Rgds

Awaiting for your LLs..!!

Study Material : Rita , PMBOK , Rajesh Nair Notes + added content after going through PMBOK , BrainBok 75 Formulae Questions + 105 PMPrepcast.( In case you feelyou need any more clarity on topics , you may additionally pick up  Headfirst , which is anyways a good book to start with )

Study Pattern: 1. Stared with PMBOK , went through entire book , came out dazed ...

2. Ordered Rita Mulcahy and went through it twice .

3. Re-Read PMBOK , seemed better this time , at the end i could recollect all  Process Chart clearly , parallely started memorizing ITTO  from standard template available ,found it easier and could memorize in 3-4 days .

4. Stared doing Christopher -Scordo from PMI site - 1000 questions ---- Excellent  in giving you the confidence of having at least read through the PMBOK, definitions , including content in chapters could become questions . Advice that when reading the PMBOK you start noting such content , so that you can read and recollect it .Felt confident with @80% in each  50 Q test set .

5. Re-Read Rita again , just to understand some gaps that i found in Cost , Scope , Risk , was clear by the time i finished .

6. Started Doing Questions - at last count approx 6000  , unfortunately started off with some wrong dumps , got more tense , some of the dumps and Question banks below are good :

> pmpbank.googlepages.com   , www.pmzilla.com , www.preparepm.com , sites.google.com/site/pgmpguide/, www.voightps.com ( difficult - but gives you 10 questions everytime , better to practice at your pace on a daily basis ) , Rita - All Chapter Questions , Andy Crowe - All Chapetr Questions , pmpforsure ( Good close to exam but more difficult than PMstudy-200 ) , PMstudy ( 800 questions - very good close to PMP ) , techfaq360 , Oliver -75+ 175 , PmZilla ( 200+75 hard questions -- Very Good to get your mind around to the PMP style of thinking , but do not do this a few days before tha exams , maybe 15-20 days and repeat ) , Certgear

I highly recommend PMstudy & PMPforsure good questions.

7. Build a Tracker and Track your studies

8. Advice do not read too many books , rather read only PMBOK and Rita/Headfirst and get through at least 3000 questions , practice  Formulae questions . Doing more questions would help you to get your mind around the way to why the specific answer is correct , which will build you up for scenario questions .

9. DO NOT read on the day of the exam , you are bound to get tensed up , just my experience ...

EXAM Day : Reach early , ensure you have had a hearty breakfast , at least one break would be required . Survey time is 15 min - you can finish it within couple of min , you may have 10-11 min spare , dump formulae , process chart , etc as required .

To Build pace and ensure you complete try and mark Formulae questions for later unless they are straighforward ( most will not be ). Pls ensure you select a choice even if you have to mark a question , this is in case you do not have time to reveiw the questions and  the time lapses , you would at east have a chance .

Ideal Pattern for Study as per my experience :  1. Rita to start wit  2. PMBOK - once at a slow pace , make notes , append to Rajesh Nair Notes .  3. Take in the Process chart and ITTO . 4.Rita +  PMBOK again with Christopher Scordo question bank - (free to PMI members - 1000 questions )  .  5. Formulae Questions . 6.Practice Tests - Oliver-175+75  , Google Questions Bank -200+480 , PMPforSure -1000 , PM study -800 ( last 2 weeks ) .  7. PMZilla forum for queries .

Best of luck

Thank you for the sharing. Very good reference links.

I realised that pmpbank.googlepages.com has changed to PMP Bank  as part of Google's shift from Google pages to Google sites.

  Congrats
