I just passed my exam today on 1st attempt.  I started preparation in Mid-September after my application was accepted.  It took me about 2 months before i take my exam.

I read Rita v7 in 2 weeks and i only did it once and then i tried to read PMBOK but stopped reading it after 1st chapter because i found the material too dry.   After that i only did online tests.  Every test i did wrong i tried to understand the answer and refer back to Rajesh Nair Notes or online.  I was expecting more Ps in my results but i think it is because of the unconvential way of my study as i did not read PMBOK at all. I got only 1P (montior and control) but I am glad i passed. I got 4MPs in others process groups.

During the last few weeks during lunch time, i tried to understand ITTO and read rajesh Nair notes.  On weekend or occasionally during week days after work  i will attempt some tests. Mostly 20, 50 or 100 questions during the week days and 200 questions during weekends.  I always tried to understand my mistakes the next day. So one day  did a batch of questions and the next day is to understand my mistakes. It was a cycle for me.  I also did 20 to 50 questions of Rita Fast track everyday 2 weeks prior my exam and score around 70-75 on them.

I got a lot of calculations for my exams. Based on LL on this website, I was expecting much less.  the questions were mostly EV, SV, CPI, SPI, EAC, BAC , Critical path, lease or buy.  No calculation questions on communication chanel, PTA or contract questions. A lot of conflict questions, situational questions, change management, ITTO questions such as input and outputs, contracts type, Quality and Risk.  No ethical, bribes, social responsibility questions. I found the calculations to be time consuming. I finished the exam in 3 hours and spent the last hour to review the marked questions. I only changed 2 answers out of 20.

Thanks for PMZILLA and all LL on this forum. This was my homepage during the last few weeks and i was always happy to see new LL when people passed. I particularly paid attention to what they wrote about the exam they just passed. In fact, some hints they posted were very useful and some of them came out in my exam too.  Just read all the LL on this website during your preparation.

Here are my mock exams results in ascending order based on the date i took them.  It is mostly around 60-70. I think this because I did not read PMBOK. My score increases as i get more practice. :)  Based on my results, I think i got 60-70 on my real exam. I barely passed but am happy i did.  I think the questions i answered wrong on the real exam is ITTO. There are always 2 answers that make sense and i have tendancy to pick the wrong one.
