Change Request
from PMP practice makes perfect
Approved ________________ are documented, authorized directions required to bring expected future project performance into compliance with the project management plan.
- Corrective actions
- Preventive actions
- Change requests
- Defect repairs
the correct answer is C (see the explanation below). I think that the correct answer is the A, corrective action.
C.
Take note that change requests include corrective action, preventive action, defect repair, and updates, thus making Option C the correct answer. Approved corrective actions are documented, authorized directions that the project manager and the project team must perform in order to bring the project back on the path defined in the project management plan. In contrast, approved preventive actions help reduce the likelihood of risks that can contribute to an unfavorable project outcome. Approved change requests deal with the expansion and contraction of project scope. Approved defect repairs aim to correct product defects that were found during the quality inspection or the audit process.

Corrective actions become change requests when approved, there is no such thing as approved corrective action.

I agree with Antoine,whyAp Ch
I agree with Antoine,
why
Ap Ch Req == are basically requests not directions, after approval these are approved request not directions.
Second thing == approved change request are also not restrict up to something that can bring future project performance to project management plan, it goes beyond as to modify the existing PMP.
hence question answer C will not be appropriate.
Also only word "Approved" if considered , every thing is the same as CORRECTIVE ACTION.
