Hi Everyone,

I passed PMP yesterday i.e. on 01-June-2010. A huge sigh of relief. Many thanks to PMZILLA.com which was useful for me during my preparation. The topics covered in this site were helpful for me. PMP experts, in this site, promptly answered my queries and clarified my doubts.

Lessons learned:

1. Stick to PMBOK only. Line to Line and word to word

2. The exercises given in RITA Mulcahy's book were useful, to the extent of developing the analytical skills. If we go through the entire book it is too confusing and time taking.

Since most of the questions I got in the exam were theoritical, the exercises I went through in RITA helped me to answer them. Only the exercises in this book are useful.

3. Andy Crowe I read but too many books confused me. So, I kept aside all the books and the material I collected in the internet (like JIMBOK, etc) and for last 15 days, before the exam, I stuck to PMBOK and exercises in RITA

4. The mock tests, I took before the exam, were only useful to know the pattern of the exam. But most of the questions in the actual exam were very much different from those in the mock tests.

My piece of advice to all PMP aspirants (based on my experience of the exam): PMBOK is the best book to be followed before taking the exam
