What is your total %age in mock exams?

Dear Frnds,

In one post i was reading that one pmp was consistant on 60% and has passed the exam, while his 2-3 friends were getting around 65 has been failed.

See here in tables 5 imaginary cases studied, how it can happened.

Below statistic shows how luck matters in PMP.

How  25 dummy questions may deflect your result you can see in below table in Case A versus Case B.

A passer may fail , a failure may pass.

My conclusion is that honestly if you are getting total %age more than 70%(out of 200) consistantly (AT LEAST 5) in your standards mock tests (mix of PMSTUDY + PM4 +PMZILLA), no one can fail you in real exam.

While looking result of mock tests, check your total %age (out of 200)

Dear Pawar Ji,

Very good research. You might be right as I can bet for sure, the way all mock test shows you the result i.e. overall percentage is not the right way to check PMP preparations. PMI considers various factor like minimum percentage, each process group performance, psychometric analysis etc. It’s likely a case that a person with overall percentage as 65% might pass and a person with 70% might fail.

I do agree with your assessments that if you target around 70% accuracy in each process group, you are sure to pass. Bet it!
