preparing PMP exam

Hi everyone,

I'm started preparing PMP exam, Is PMBOK 4 EDITION is enough to study ot should I get th eseventh Edition?

Thanks,

NN

Not sure why are you looking for the PMBOK 7th edition when 5th edition does not have confirmed release date. I am sure, even PMI would have not thought about PMBOK 7th Edition until now. If you ask them this question now, they might get into sock!

Back to serious note – Please start reading PMP books from some good reference book like Rita, Headfirst, Andy etc that are based on PMBOK 4th edition and then move deep into PMBOK 4th edition. Keep in mind PMP questions would be framed seeing PMBOK, and just PMBOK so your target should be to understand every line of PMBOK.

Might be you mixed PMPBOK and Rita 7th edition, I suggest you can read any of Rita 6th or 7th, it does not make difference since both are based on PMBOK 4th edition. However, if you plan to purchase it, look for 7th version as newer version always offers something better and demanding.

 Hi,

You can go through the wonderful compilation of lessons learnt compiled by 'Mrinmoy Das'. It gives a lot of view points, books to refer to and sample exams.
