Am i ready for the Exam?
Hi friends,my PMP exam is on 3rd Set. i'm taking the paid simulation tests from PMP for sure and scoring around 65- 75% & PASS/Fail results. It has been designed for 100 questions per test. Some questions are of good standard but others are framed just modifying the sentences of PMBOK .
Is there any other bench mark to evaluate the level of preparation required to pass the real PMP Exam?
Another thing -Is there any chance that a person who failed today in real PMP exam may pass tomorrow?.
What i mean to ask is the precision of the real test out come with same level of knowledge of the test taker & exam hall temperament.
Regards,
Arun.

Hi Arun - Good Luck
Hi Arun,
I passed PMP last week and I also used PMP for sure tests. I agree many of their questions are excellent and majority PMBOK reworded extracts into situational questions. You know what, that’s what PMP exam practice needs. Even the real PMP exam will have questions framed in similar way, like 40-50 questions will be tricky and confusing and other will be reworded PMBOK extracts. Most of the people say here and I feel the same i.e. every line of PMBOK is a potential PMP question. I advice you also to take PMstudy tests also as they are on similar grounds, but you will score here 10% higher than PMP for sure tests.
Did you also take Oliver and Rita’s Fast Track? If not than try those too as they have very good questions. Although you will not get PMP question like these one, but these are real mind openers. You can also try simplilearn, headfirst and techfaq360 tests, they are on easier side so you should look for around 80% in those tests.
Don’t worry about second time and all, you are doing well, you will crack PMP this time.
Good Luck!

Your scores are good
Hi Lelrh,
Honestly, its difficult to say if you will pass the PMP exam or not as PMP questions will be different from the mock test you are trying. However your score is good. Last week I passed PMP exam and here is what my scores with various mock test was:
Oliver Lehman 75 questions – 74%
PM Study free - 73%
PM Study 1 – 76%
PM Study 2 – 75%
RMC Fast tack PMP – 78%
RMC Fast Track Super PMP – 73%
Oliver Lehman 175 questions – 78%
Exam Central – 81%
Headfirst PMP – 84%
Simpilearn free – 82%
PMP for sure (11 tests) – Average 70-75%
I also agree, that this might not work for all, but you can try these, atlest the free one from them.
Good Luck!

PMPQ
Hi Arun,
If you want to prepare for the exam using your mobile device, you can try PMPQ Lite: www.pmtraining.es/indexPMPQuestionsLite.htm
When you get over 80% in the exams, you will be prepared to pass the exam in the first attempt.
Good luck
Best regards

Take some more mock test
Hi Arun,
Take some more mock tests. Just one provider will not be able to give you flavors. It's good that you encountered questions from reworded PMBOK extracts, in reality that’s what PMP exam question is all about i.e. how well you have understood PMBOK lines.
There is no true benchmark to check PMP exam preparation, the real issue is who will benchmark? PMI institute does not tell you any PMP question nor it talks about passing marks for PMP, forget about benchmarking mock providers. Just try the mock test, as trusted by various people (you will know from people who have passed PMP exam). Always see the score of mock test "process group wise" and never by overall percentage.
Success and failure is all part of life. If you just want to be successful in every aspect of life, it would not be called a human life, rather it would be called a machine. Human life graph is full of up’s and down’s and that what life is all about. I enjoy more from failure and not from success because success can just give smiles whereas failure can show you your weakness and area of improvement. The dark night has ended, there will be a beautiful sunrise tomorrow morning. Have patience and don’t give up. You will pass this time. Good luck.
