Respected Pawarji Sire,

You, as expected, are doing well. I would not say you are 100% correct but still being very close to it is a wonderful performance.

OK, without sounding cynical, I question the validity of these questions which are being posted here everyday. This is not directed towards the people who are posting these questions, but the questions themselves.

We saw a couple of days back when there was no clarity on what the right answer is, which can cause considerable confusion in the mind of the people who are preparing for the exam. In this question set, we have words like PC, OPA, EEF, PSoW et al., which, we all know what they stand for, but they're never used by the PMBOK and I will be VERY surprised if the real PMP exam will have such questions. Correct me if I am wrong, but I see the effort to solve these "questionable" questions a pointless exercise in futility.

If you dont like it ignore it.

Nobody has put a gun on your temple and asked to go through it.

If it is alluded against me for using PC, PSoW, PMP, PSS et al it is primarily because I am keying it and not doing any Ctrl C + Ctrl V. If the effort can not be lauded, at least it should not be criticised either. And the very fact that someone can take PMP test if they have experience of over 3+ years and anyone having 3+ years of vintage would comprehend what is a PSoW, PMP, PSS, et al. Or a single glance of the Bible or Rita.

Last but not the least, as I said during initiating, that I will stop once ONLY admin or SS tells me. What others think, I can not do anything about it. That is their problem and they need to sort out. I'll continue doing it and will SURELY stop if Admin or SS asks me. What others think, for all that I care. I was/am only trying to help others, including self. As I know how frustrating and expensive it is to fail. And besides what are forums meant for?

Certainly, if someone does not like it they should ignore my questions like many spams on our beloved forum's site. Casting aspersions would not yield any good result. Someone is not doing anything for others and simply criticising someone's laboured job. WOW!

What say RD, respected Pawarji Sir, Karthik, Prashant, Ramana, Suraj and all.

Warmly, KK....

I am not criticizing you and I said in my post that this is not directed towards the people who are posting the questions; I am just questioning the questions being posted, is all. Ask yourself, do you really think such ambiguous questions will appear in the exam? I have 3 PMPs in my team (including one who regularly gives lectures in the local PMI chapter) here and I showed them these questions. All of them said the same thing that I did.

Once again, this was not meant to criticize you or anyone else in any way and I am sorry if it came across that way. I am not asking you to stop posting these questions; I don’t own this website and don’t make the rules, if you want, go ahead.

For the nth time, my post was directed towards the questions and not the forum members.

I agree with KK to a larger extent primarily because of the manual effort involved in typing these questions in addition to preparing for the exam as well.

I also understand Jay's concern on the quality of some of the questions. Since these questions are not framed by KK/Ravi/SS, but filtered  from different sources , we may have to give a bit of leeway purely for the effort exereted by these active members

If any of the respondents feel that the answers are incorrect, I think that is the trigger to dissect the available answers and initiate a  constructive discussion

Regards

Karthik

All,

I support KK on this . Contrary to Jay, there are many who liked the questions and would like them to be posted.

Only admin of the site has the authority if he wants these questions on the forum or not but you are always welcome to give your view point and If you do not like the questions please ignore them and go ahead with other topics with in the forum which you like. Self censorship is the best thing in that case.

Every body is free here how they want to prepare for the exam. More over, if you have any issues with any question you can always discuss that with in the forum or you can do your own research on the question.

Thanks,

RD

Krantikumar,

So this is your natural style.

I think you need to work very hard on your behavioral skills before writing PMP.

 Hi KK and other colleagues,

First of all thanks to everyone to be an active member in this forum and not like me as a silen spectator. I felt it is worth to share my thoughts here basically

i) for the benefit of aspiring PMP's ( I have cleared my PMP recently )

ii) for those people like me who visits the forum frequenlty to refresh their knowledge and to improve further.

iii) Any issues in virtual world like this forum should not be viewed personally ( this is purely my opinion).

 KK,

I feel colleagues who have shared their views on the question updated by you in this forum is mainly to make to more efficient and effective for the benefit of everyone, since there is nothing to be considered as personal which they have highlighted.

So do not take anything personally in virtual world( As you know  personal confilict should be of least priority always) and keep continue your good work and effort for the benefit of you and everyone.

Hi Others,

I appreciate your thoughts shared with KK to improve the quality of questions to make it more effective and as a real PMP type question.. At the same time, i feel that  it is always better to get the mail id of concerned person and have a personal discussion of your views will  provide an oppartunity to improve your professional network  and relationship further, rather than heated comments in public forum. ( As a PMP/ aspiring PMP, you will agree with me that  one2 one at the firsr round of disucssion will provide greated benefits in case of conflicts)

Cheers

HS

Anandkp,

Have you ever had the opportunity to read a book by Oscar Wilde, "The Importance of Being Earnest"? Ok, I will tell you why I ask even if you have read.

In the book one lady asks Proff Higgins, "Why are you being rude to me?". Prof Higgins replies, "Dont worry lady! I am rude and nasty with everyone"!

So, now that you realise that I am like this, you must be feeling lot lighter since I did not only single you out but there are few others as well :)

I am so very delighted that I could take something off your proud and overflowing "PMP" head.. And thanks for your suggestion, I shall look into it. This is, however, a honest suggestion and worth a thought Anandkp.

Once again, congrats on your grand and gala "SUCCESS".
