Respected Pawarji Sir,

I have not started PTM yet but am attempting on basis of few tests that yours truly has taken.

ANSWERS:---------:-------

1.B (They r the best set of people in preparing any deliverable of sorts)

2. D (Leads&Lags are used in Sequencing and Develop Sched)

3. A (Define Activities outputs are Actvty List, Attributes, and Milestone list and no updates to projct docs)

4. A (Define Activities' outputs are Milestone List)

5. B (S-to-F are rarely used now, as per the Bible PMBOK)

6. B (Have not studied dependencies much respected Pawarji Sir, so its just as per my best guess!)

7. D (Lead is accelaration, lag is waiting)

8. C (Fragment is lesser so is subnetwork)

9. A (PDM is most frequently used)

10. C and D ( What if scenario analysis is done in both Dev and Ctrl Schedule. So not sure about the veracity of the question and also I did not find any tricks in it)

This was my answer with reasonings. Rest on respected Pawarji Sir to let me/us know how did I do.

Warmly, Kranti Kumar aka KK....

Since I have not seen answer
Also not refer PMBOK .
Few are very easy but few very tough

Let see tomorrow

Activity attribute does have lead and lag. The thing it does not have is time to do the activity.

It is thae same as providede by questioner. But its seems as of old pattern ( PMBOK 3)
That's why 10 and 1 are little different.
But I thought lead and lag and how they are concern with all 4 types of sequencing are stated well here.

1.     Answer: B PMBOK Pg. 1342.     Answer: C Activity attributes are an input for project schedule development; therefore, the scheduling information is not a part of the activity attribute.3.     Answer: A. Project document updates is an output to all processes in Project Time Management process area except Define Activities.4.     Answer: A5.     Answer: B6.     Answer: A7.     Answer: D Note that this dependency can be represented by both ADM and PDM techniques.8.     Answer: C9.     Answer: C It is not clear what Activity Sequencing technique is the Project Manager using; however, it is evident that she is developing a schedule network diagram for only part of the project (not the entire project)10.   Answer: C

Respected Pawarji Sir,

The only question which bothered me was # 10.

Respected Pawarji Sir, I am saying this bcoz what-if is used in both Ctrl as well Dev Schedule.

I dont know how prudent it is to use PMBOK-3 respected Pawarji Sire? However, it is upto few literates people do decide and not a failure like me. I would follow the pattern.

Warmly, KK....

I did not quite understand the question 3, can someone explain me in details

The intention of this questions is, "In which time management activity is Project Document Updates not an Output?"

The answer to this is Define Activities.

Hope you understood it though, am not sure, if I could explain in "Detail" ?
