You need to study well and  practice  Lot of questions including tough ones.

Don't take things for granted .  You can not ignore any topic( I would say not even a single page) from

PMBOK Guide 4th Edition.

As mentioned in PMI website Market place  there are so many PMP Exam Study Guides

and Exam Simulation ones available .

I used   a particular book  mentioned in the PMI Market Place Website

Project Manager How to pass the PMP® Exam without dying in the attempt

which is available in Kindle Edition also.   This Book is the excellent one to refer apart from PMBOK Guide.

Also this book  is based on the Current Version of  PMBOK Guide Fourth Edition also adaptations of PMP

Exam Preparation Text Books from recognized Authors such Rita Mulcahy, Michael Newell, Joseph Phillips

and Kim Heldman.  Also around 415 questions with Answer Keys.

The practice Exam in their Website     www.pablolledo.com    - when you visit (if at all you want to buy exam simulation)  you have to select English in the website  right top option.

This book gave me the confidence .

Never stop reading .  Know the Process Groups , Know all the 9 Knowledge Areas and all

ITTO's.     PMPTrendExamSimulator bundle  which comes with ITTO Quiz  a good one.

Practice lot of  available Full Length Exams( Free or purchased ones ) or atleast  100 questions at a time

and test your knowledge in all 9 Knowledge areas.  You have to practice daily.

Read PMBOK Book  one topic a day and prepare your own notes . It will help you.

You should memorize  all the 42 Project Management Processes belonging to the 9 Knowledge Areas

falling under 5 Process groups.  Every day spend 15 minutes try writing that down  from your memory.

Within 4-5 days you will be able to remember all 42 Project Management Processes .

Use the Book  -  PMP Certification  Mathematics  Exam preparation Guide  by Vidya Subramanian and

Ravi Ramachandran.     Read this book daily once in a  day and practice few mathematics questions

with that Book there is a CD also which has 10 exams(100 questions in total )  10 questions per exam

which you need to practice.

Never give up  .      Read few topics and practice questions on those topics to get more confidence.

Try different practice exams  .   Try tough ones too.  Refer PMI Market place Website  so many listed

all of good quality and great reference Exam books  also the exam simulation ones.

Study few hours  have a simple plan practice few questions  Memorize things.

You will gain confidence.  The real exam will be totally different but have confidence in you

Your sincere efforts  which includes so many hours of preparation will not go waste.

Wishing  you all great success -   in your PMP Exam first try itself.
