Hello From Poland! How I passed PMP exam :-)
Hello PMZilla forum Members,
I passed the PMP exam yesterday!!! Yes I did it!!! It was my first attempt.
I have been a silent member of this forum. Please forgive my English, I am Polish-speaker.
Below is my LL:
Duration:
Almost 3 months preparation. Every day I devoted my free time for read PMBOK, Rita, PMZilla forum or mock exams.
Books:
I started with reading Head First, then PMBOOK and Rita Mulachy. PMBOOK and Rita I read very carefully twice, and many times scanned.
In my opinion Head First is good and very easy for orientation. But for me the best turned out PMBOOK. Definite, with easy language and clear concept.
'Rita Mulachy 6th edition' is excellent for much better understanding, and I have to mention that 'Rita Process chart' better understand and ... memorize :-) For me it was really valuable during exam. Memorize it, it was not very difficult. Two hours cycling and reading at the gym and ready ;)
Mock test:
1. PMStudy (all 4 tests)
2. Head First
3. Oliver Lehmann - 175
Scored above 75% in all tests.
Forum:
Only PMZilla. I read every new LL, and a lot posts in 'Questions bank' . Great sources of concepts and motivation. Thanks Member!
Others:
ITTO - I attempted understand all connection between Inputs - Tools - Outputs, and with right order. I scanned ITTO many times.
Exam:
Around 90% situational questions. Unfortunately with a lot red herrings and waffles and not very popular synonyms. For non-native persons it could be a really issue. Understanding where is the pith take a lot time ... critical time. I was really profoundly focused on every answer.
Finally, I was answering questions for 3 hours and 25 minutes and had only 35 minutes to review the marked questions. After it I pressed the End button and wait ... wait ... wait ... wait. It was 5, maybe 7 or 10 the longest minutes I have ever had.
But the message 'Congratulations you've passed' rewarding all the effort and time spent on study and preparation. I still cannot believe, I am PMP now!!!
Now, I still celebrate my success. On Monday I will start preparation for next exam ;)
I wish all Aspirants all the best! Believe, you can do it!
Anna, PMP

Congrats
Congrats Sir.
However, from your LLs it does not prove, even for a second, that your command over the language is not very polished.
I would rate your language proficiency as P and much higher than many, definitely me!
Congrats again. Enjoy...
Thanks, KK.....

Thanks Guys!
Mohanna, every mock exam I did twice. First time pmstudy (4 tests) I scored about 65 - 69%. Then I read explanation and revised for second attempt. In the end, I scored about 88 - 93%.
According for me, pmstudy is mid-difficult.
