1    Perform Quality Control

2    Quality Planning

3    Total Quality Control

4    Perform Quality Assurance

 

Just as is the project is in the closing stage, you discovered that you missed a work package in the WBS. As the project manager, how should you handle this problem?

 

1. Wait for the request from the change request.

2. Add the missed work package into the WBS

3. Include the work package into estimates but not into the activity list

4. Go ahead with the work package

 

The Project's customer has just proposed a change request during testing period. As the project manager, which of the following you do.

 

1. Purpose a formal change request.

2. Reject the customers change request

3. Revise the project scope, cost and schedule

4. Let CCb to consider, if the change request id needed.

Q-1: Option 4.  QA by definition ensures overall quality performance, conformance to standards etc


Q2 - Option 1.  Any additions/deletions/modifications have to go through CCB and scopebaseline/Cost Baseline/Time Baseline need to be updated, if approved by CCB.  Then only the work package gets executed.


Q. 3: Option 1- Same explanation as Q2.  To get to option 4, first you have to exercise Option 1.

for the question 1, I feel like it should be perform quality contril as this process comes under monitoring and controlling process group where in we evaluate the quality. correct me if I am wrong

I agree it should be #1 as question says OVERALL.

1. Answer is 4. This is the purpose of this process.


2. Answer is 1. Without approved change request any management plan, base line cann't be changed. WBS is part of scope base line and hence required formal approval from CCB. The statement of answer 1 is somewhat not correct but atleast rest of three answer is totally incorrect.


3. Answer is 1. CCB is not for decision wether change request is required or not. CCB is for approving / rejecting formal change request seeing whole picture of the project. Rest of two answers are totally incorrect.
