Passed PMP on 27th

Happy to share that i passed PMP on 27th.

Another info, all PMP aspirants must have heard about the PMP Trend Contest.  I was the winner of that.

Now, to the lessons learned,

Books referred- Head First, Rita v6, PMBOK.

Tests-PMStudy1-78%, PMStudy2- 79%, PMStudy 3- 79%, PMStudy4 -73%, Oliver 75Q-58%, 175Q-72%, Simplilearn-69%, Edwel - 75%.

The Exam had lot of questions on Risk, Quality and Math calculations.  And, several questions had pictures and questions were asked from the pictures.

Thanks to all the PMP members who posted their lessons learned.

Congrats sampath,... see, remember what i told you in our conversation on pmptrend.com, you will make it. and you made it.

Congrats once again.

Thanks.

congrats sampat!

can you elaborate more on picture questions? are you talking about network diagrams?

Picutes of SCurve, Critical Path, ActivitySequenceDiagram , Risk Register and Control Chart.  All the pictures were there, and questions were asked from the pictures.

can someone please please suggest me the latest PMP exam study materials/books to buy?

Where can I find it? I tried books from Barnes & Nobles and some iphone apps ($$$) but I failed my 1st attempt.  The test covered few things that weren't in any of those books...

I am so disappointed in myself for failing the test right now.

Thanks

E

When did you take the exam and what did you score?

Mostly people use Rita Mulcahy's PMP book beside PMBOK for exam prep. Some people have also used HeadFirst PMP and Andy Crowe's book as well

I studied HeadFirst, Rita v6 and PMBOK.

Trawal,  My scroes and books referred are in my Lessons Learned.
