PMZilla Final Test : Scored 65%
Hello All,
I have been a silent member of this forum. I followed many advises by the fellow borders.. thank you all.
My test scores are as below:
PM Study 1 : 61% Very initial days
PM Study 2 : 72% Gave after one time read of PMBOK 4 months ago.
Rita Fasttrack : 83%
Oliverlehmann 75 : 80%
Oliverlehmann 175: 75.43%
Finally after advise from you all.. I took PMZilla final test. Scored 65% in that. This was THE TOUGHEST I took so far. Now going through the questions that I got wrong. Is this a good score in this test?
Fingers crossed.. please wish me success for my big day... :)
Regards.

Yes, you need to calm your nerves. Do NOT practice any more. What is done is done. Just browse Rajesh----Chowdhury. All the best! See you tomorrow :) KK...

Hi
Thankyou KK50. I must thank you. I did remember your post once when I was too nervous during the test.. I found my test questions extremely tricky.. nearly 95% of them had 2 good answers with the BEST one just-just-just-just-just one bit better. I completed the first round at 3:53elapsed time. 7 min and 25odd review Qs. Time finished before I reviewed all. Tense .. amazed and almost cried after seeing congratulations and 4P-1MP on the screen. Thanks once again.

Hmmm
Hmmm.. but I wasnt sure how I was doing.. while doing..
I wasnt convincingly picking the answers... they were always situational and all had two great answers.. e.g :incase of a change there were both the options about looking at the impact and getting change description-details from customer.. had to figure out what EXACTLY the situation is.. from 6-7 lines to understand the best one.. good that it all went well..

How many numericals and ITTO questions you had?

Hi
A lot of ITTO atleast 20-25 of them... but they were not direct..never a process name directly mentioned and hardly a few times an exact ITTO name mentioned.. believe me sometimes the matching ITTO was not in explicitly stated in the the pmbok guide. I didnt memorize ITTOs per process.. I tried to understand what they are.. for each of them. better said than done I know..but I can now say big NO to memorizing ITTO..(with respect to my exam)
numericals were surprizingly low.. most of the times it was pert and decision tree(EMV).. I was waiting and waiting for a good EVM numerical and the exam concluded already ;).. EVM did appear in a lot of situations though..

What
What is your total PM experience in years? I mean how many did you mention in your application. In reality it might be more.

Thanks
I tried to understand ITTO but it is just hard. Might have to learn as many as I can. It seems exam can't be passed without knowing ITTO fully.
What other things you would recommend me to know to clear the exam? I still have a few weeks for preparation.
My so far scores in the practice exams are:
Headfirst - 81%
Techfaq360-76%
Oliver 75 - 77.5%
ExamCentral - 80%

I have Rita's books and solved all her problems. Average score was 75% in her practice questions.
I will take PMZilla a week before my exam. I just want to get a hang of ITTO and glossary to gain more confidence.
I took PMStudy's free test and scored 70% but exam was little tough and I made a few silly mistakes as well.

PMZilla Final Test
Well I am going for my second attempt this Saturday (4 days). I studdied like crazy before the first exam, I also took a one week boot camp. I failed to focus on the memorization portion and to be honest, at 51 that is much harder. I feel more confident now with some of the key formulas, PV, CPI, EaC etc.
I do feel in some ways, it would have been easier if my mind was a green field and not having 15 years of project management experience. I really feel even with my experience this entire journey has truly round me out in terms of my skills and experience.
I have taken quite a few test exams and sample questions. I found like most of you there are the Go To ones and a lot of crappy ones as well. I just purchased the PMZilla Final exam and it's tough but doable. I am doing it in chunks so I can really focus on any weak areas that I discover. I am hitting about 65-70 percent and I am praying that this is a good indication. In the remaining days I think I will focus on review of the PMBOK, refer to my mega-cheat sheets and practice practice practice.
