Submitted by kprasad on Fri, 04/06/2012 - 15:25
Hi,
My exam is scheduled on 16th April. My preparation so far has been as follows:
1. Head First (2x times)
2, Rita (specific chapters and questions related to each KA)
3. PMBOK (2x times)
Exams:
1. PMStudy free - #1 test ---> 75%
2. HFJ 200 Qns --> 80%
3. PMFasttrack --> Low 70's
Do you think I am track to give the exam? Plan to give Oliver's 175 qns..
Suggestions plz...

I think you are going on well on
I think you are going on well on the reading part. Also on the mocks you are clocking an avg 75%, which is really good. I would suggest you to take another 2 more difficult mocks (more situational / verbose types).
Wish you all the best !

You are doing
Hi KPrasad: I feel you are doing well. Just see the topics where you went wrong. I feel it might be bcoz of the formula questions. Try practising on your wrong questions and also answers where u could score well out of fluke. You r doing well nevertheless. Be confident and practice hard for the remaining 10 days. Thanks, KK......

mock tests - Rita fasttrack
is Rita's PM Fasttrack a good bet? Or is it over hyped?

If you have time, go for Rita's PM Fasttrack
I recently passed PMP and to my experience Rita’s question collection is good but when it comes to answer choice, it fails. I have seen some more people in this forum agreeing to this that Rita’s answer choice is English test between light yellow and dark yellow colors.
Not sure how much time you have for PMP, if you have 1+ months go for Rita but if your exam is near choose the one that is very close to the real PMP questions i.e
PmStudy.com
PmpForSure.com
I have tried both and can bet on these 2 over Rita or any other.

Look this forum for some help
I tried the site long ago, try to open a new account at www.pmpforsure.com
I am already a PMP certified, so I will not go and open account there. Some people in this forum have also tried them, they might help you. Look for this forum who have tried and ask them for some help.

Try the Free online PMP
Try the Free online PMP simulation in pmptrend.com here is the link http://www.pmptrend.com/index.php/en/pmp/pmp-exam-simulator-web-samplers
you can choose exams of 25, 50, 100 and 200. These exams are realistic, according to the site admin, the percentage of passing from among those who tried the test is very low about 3% only which means - most of those who tried the exam could be said unprepared, or may have been exerted much efforts in misguided preparation. You need not to think of exams that seem to be DIFFICULT as some advertize, difficult maybe becoz the questions are wrongly structured, gramatically wrong, etc. as these exams would only lead you more to confusions. Also, dont waste your time studying not in the right approach or focusing on specific process or areas.
anyways, this tips can probably help you http://www.pmptrend.com/index.php/en/pmp/77-pmp-resources/149-pmp-exam-guide-tips
