Passed PMP Exam in First Attempt on 28-Mar-2012

Hi,

I appeared for PMP exam on 28-Mar-2012 and by grace of ALLAH passed it. I scored proficient in Initiation, Planning, Monitoring & Control group and Moderately Proficient in Execution & Closing group.

I started preparation for PMP in Jan'2012. My preparation included following;

  • PMBOK 4th Edition ( 3 Times)

  • Rita PMP Exam Prep 7th Edition ( 2 Times)

Total study time of 110 hours with number of sample questions attempted greater than 2,400. It included 4 full length mock exams.

I would like to thank my family who supported me in this quest and my supervisor, Mr. Kashan Niazi for emphasizing PMP's importance.

Regards,

Muhammad Bilal

AoA,

First of all, congrats on attaining PMP credential, you deserve it.

I'm finding it a bit difficult to keep the pace with a full time job & family :)

Anyhow let me know if you are selling learning materials with 4 full length mock exams. Instead of purchasing used stuff from Amazon, I can buy from you if you are interested.

With best regards,

MK

Thanks for appreciation.

The four full length sample exams i practiced were from free resources mentioned on PMZilla Website, under category of 'PMP Exam and Links'. And there is one more website 'ExamCentrel' which offers free sample test.

That’s about it.

1000 Mabrook man, wish you all the best, my exam is on 9/4 (after 1 week), so far I read pmbok 4th 2 months ago, and in march I've read Rita 6th, & HeadFirst PMP, I attended HeadFirst 50 Questions, I scored 72%....

I need some advice now, shall I read pmbok 1 more time, because I feel that not all of the concepts are gathered in my head, and I still didn't take any full 200 exams yet.

please advise.

Thanks bro.

TeeQ,

Please revise the PmBok and do attempt free test of PMStudy and Simplilearn to get a feeler of exam and build stamina to sit through that 4hours for 200 questions . That is also a key for preparation.

Thanks, Nishant

 Thank you very much

TeeQ

Nishant is absolutely right. You must revise PMBOK once and ITTO's twice. Secondly, would suggest you to take at least two full length mock exams before embarking on real one.

Score in these mock exams should be greater than 80%.

Best of luck, for preparation & exam.

Muhammad Bilal
