I am excited and pressured to take my first PMP exam.
What exactly is the PMP passing score? How much time should I need to prepare for PMP exam and pass it?
also if you may, please recommend the most credible websites where I can download free PMP resources

Passing Score is 61%. 200
Passing Score is 61%. 200 questions in total, there 25 pre-release questions which are non-contributory to your score and you will not know which ones are which hence scoring well in all are mandatory. I recommend this forum above any other. In regards to prep time - it is totally subjective on your PM experience, prior learnings, etc. Generally the norm is 8-12 weeks and the final 2-4 weeks should include intense focus.

Every where I read till date
Every where I read till date is 60.6% is passing score however What I got from PMI customer care this was true untill 2005. Now the scoring pattern is - one has to be Proficient/Moderate Proficient in 5 out of 6 Key process areas. Seems they are treating Professional & social responsibilities as separate Process area.
What is the definition of proficient and moderate proficient is something different in each area and not known.
May be admins can throw some more light to this scoring pattern.
Thanks
