PMP Test in 3 days

Hi,

I have been studying and scoring well in 80% in PMP, Rita, headfirst Andy crowe, I gave Pm study and got 80 but today I gave simplilearn and got 56% thats is too low and I am nervous now as my test is in 3 days from now.

Not sure should I reschedule my test or go for it as it was not a last confident test.

PLease help and advice.

Thanks.

I would suggest not to take any test a week before the exam. It would not help in buiding confidence. That is what all the members in the form have said.

Test youself again with a reputed testing site to make sure you get somthing in the range of 75-80 before the main test.

Hello….. Something similar happened to me too with some other tests. I would suggest to take HeadFirst (free-full length) test to boost your confidence and gauge your preparation on real test. As per my experience, HeadFirst test is very similar to real test if you consider the level of complexity. After I scored 82% (anything >75% is good) in HeadFirst, I went ahead and passed the exam. Try to take tests same time you will have your real test.

I also found many posts on this forum claiming PMStudy is very close to real test (and Simplilearn very difficult one) however I never took PMStudy/SimpliLearn tests.

I would suggest basing your decision on your preparation/confidence rather few low scoring tests. Make sure understand process flow clearly (e.g. diff between Verify scope, Control Scope; CCB etc.) and you are ready to answer all EVM, EMV question etc. If concepts are clear, I would go ahead and take the test as exam is very much (~90%) situtaion based.

Best of luck...

Shuk
