How does PDU's during 3 Year Cycle work

How does PDU's during 3 Year Cycle work.


Lets say if i collect 60 PDU's in my first year, are they still counted towards 3 years, or once i report then i have to start collecting more PDU's for following year?


Can someone please explain?


 


Also if i have collected more than 60 PDU's during a 3 year cycle, does the extra get rollover for following 3 year cycle?

 yes and Yes. 60 PDUs can be collected any time during the 3 years cycle and upto 20 pdus can be carried over to next cycle. There is no yearly concept only 3 years cycle.

Extra only 20pdus to rollover for following 3 year cycle, though compulsorily earned only in 3rd year of current cycle of 3 yrs.

For Example

If you will earn 80pdus within 2nd year of 1st cycle, 20pdus will not be considered for next cycle. it must be earned only in 3rd year of 1st cycle.

So if i am understanding it correctly:-


If i collect 60 PDU's during first 2 Years, my requirement is met. Thereafter in 3rd Year if i collect 20 PDU's, the 20 PDU's can be carried over as my requirement was already met correct?

You might want a better strategy than collecting all 60 units in one year. At a point you'll have to start collecting them again. :)

Remember that there are a lot of ways to earn PDUs. Enjoy it! Participate in webinars. Document your work - you can earn 5 per year for experience. Be creative.
