Questions from PMP exam 7/17

  1.  The questions in my seating today, has at least 15 questions on Contract Types. So memorize your contract types well! Questions range from situational asking you to decide which is the appropriate contract types to offer to straightforward definition of the contract types.
  2. Around 2-3 calculation questions that came up on make-or-buy decision I feel it is worth sharing here. It gives you cost of leasing, and cost of owning and you would need to calculation the breakeven point for decision making. E.g. cost of buying a computer is $4,000 and the cost of owning a computer is $300 every year. Cost of leasing is $1,500 every year with a one-time installation of $400. If the plan is to use the computer for a min of 4 years, should you buy or lease? This question is also discussed in my PMStudy course, so kudos and credits to PMStudy.
  3. There are about 25 questions or more on Earned Value Management, memorize your formulas for CV, SV, CPI, SPI and various EACs.
  4. There are also close to 20 questions on HR topics alone, on Conflicts Management and techniques/tools for Developing Project Team.

Thanks for sharing...these kind of inputs helps us all who are going to appear for exam soon

Thank you for providing such valueable tips, we appreciate it very much.

 Everyone,

Please keep in mind one individuals exam make up can vary drastically from anothers. Do not prepare for what was laid out here but have a well rounded approach. If you put the correct study time in and use online resources such as this, you can key in on the important topics.

Also I would be weary of giving out specifics on exam questions, this could potentially violate ethical agreements you make by becoming a PMP
