International/Contract

As a project manager, you have procured a contract to an international company. The contract is for the manufacturing of bearings. The project is currently behind schedule and a critical deadline MUST be met. The issue is that the international company closes during their lunch break and any lost time is threating the target deadline date, what should you do:

1) Ask employees of the international company to work through their lunch break

2) Ask employess of the international company to take a shorter lunch break

3) Ask employees of the international company to work overtime

4) As sponsor for more funding

So whats the right answer?

option 3

I am curious to know why 3 is right option

I dont have the right answer

any more insights from others?

Working through lunch break or forcing a shorter lunch breal might be illegal or subject to union protests; overtime is a paid extra time.
