Assuming that the critical path of your project has duration of ten days, which of the following cannot affect the project timelines?
1 If the project has one critical path, you are able to decrease the duration of the critical path by one day by using a new tool.
2 If the project has one critical path, you have to increase the duration of the critical path by one day due to delays.
3 If the project has two critical paths, you are able to decrease the duration of one critical path by one day by using a new tool.
4 If the project has two critical paths, you have to increase the duration of one critical path by one day due to delays.

There are two critical paths
In Choice 3, there are two critical paths, each of duration 10 days.
By definition, duration of critical path = duration of project.
Choice 3 talks about reducing the duration of one CP by 1 day. Doing so makes that path non-critical. But we still have the other (now the only one) critical path of duration 10 days hence no change in project duration.
