In real time big value procurement process, IFB (invitation for Bid) is used for procuring the outside services which is comprehensive of all costs of product, result and services, and using bid buyer select supplier/contractor from the list of qualified sellers list. And in such type of procurement FFP contract is generally used.

RFP is used for CR contract and RFQ is used for TM contract type.

When the solicitation is about the price it is talking about the fixed price contract and fixed price  contract is pertaining to IFB.


CR is for RFP and this talks about the proposal for technical and functional  tasks are involved and buyer would like to the capability of seller and how he is going to perform etc.
