You have received the news that your shipment of supplies will be delayed by two weeks due to bad weather. What will be your FIRST step?
- Fast track the project to ensure that the project schedule is not delayed.
- Determine how much float is available in that task.
- Try to get additional supplies from an alternate location as soon as possible.
- Take corrective action to minimize the impact of delay.

This could be 2. We need to
This could be 2. We need to start off with evaluation of the impact and as part of evaluation we should determine how much float is available in the task. Based on the float value , we can take up action

The answer is 2
Ihad a mental formula for these type of questions.
First analyze the impact with the team.
second, inform the impact (including the risk)to the stakeholder
third, if the stkholder still wants it and accepts the constraint risks and impacts then initiate Integrated change contol.
Hope it helps.

The delay of the specific task might simply be accepted and have no impact if there is enough task float to cover this delay :-) Hence first check out that task float before trying to fix things that might not need fixing.
