1. Ruled out, since only about 30% of employees are involved in projects.

3. Ruled out, since some of the project manager's own team members do not report to him/her.

4. Ruled out, since some of the project manager's team members DO report to him/her; i.e. the PM's power is more that that of a mere expeditor/co-ordinator.
