Facilitated workshops would be to bring together disparate groups of poeple, and bring about a common understanding. Qualit Function Deployment and Joint Application development, are examples of that, in real world according to PMBOK. Quality Function Deployment would be the correct choice, as Joint Application Development (JAD) are commonly used in software industry.
