Your Take SS!!!

Dear SS and all,

I bought a book from www.flipkart.com and the name of the book is A User's Manual to the PMBOK Guide - Cynthia Snyder Stackpole. The book did cost me a fortune and that is Rs 3997.

The author of the book is Cynthia Syackpole and she was the PM for PMBOK-4. This book is her manual. I would receive this book either on July 2, 3 or the 4th. I shall keep all of you posted.

On PMI site the price was 75 dollars and since the shipment would have cost an additional 25$, hence I thought Flipkart is fine. I have already ordered so can not cancel it. I shall read it with utmost care and attention and give my take on it to all.

Warm regards,

KK.....

Hey Kranti – I do not see any need for you to refer any more books with the preparation and comfort level you have.

In human life, there are many goals, and you have to restrict your efforts to achieve your goal. There are two things here:
1. Passing PMP
2. Continuous improvement in your PM career

I would say, first crack PMP exam, that’s your first goal. To crack PMP exam, you have studied what you want so go for it now. Under study and over study…both are bad. Once PMP certified, you can continue other learning and utilize the good books you have purchased to gain your knowledge further. For now, I would just suggest, target PMP exam.
