Victorious on 2nd of May 2012
Finally, after 6 months of studies, I made it! Thanks to God and to all here who kept me inspired by their stories, either bad or good. I cached in my mind that the aim to notch PMP is to study and apply what you have learned and experienced in the project management battlefield :)
In this test, I got 3MPs (I,M/C, C) and 2Ps (P and E). I would say the exam is tough and there were some tricky questions (for those lengthy and extraneous wordings, read first the what is asked, and don't just start on the initial statement)
Just want to share my lessons learned and experience prior to taking the exam. I used the following materials in order
1. PMBOK 4th Ed. - Though the text is dry, I managed to finish reading this and studied most on the definitions (review the glossary!!!!)
2. Head First PMP - this is the best book I've read as it has many illustrations and you can visualize what's being discussed.
3. PMP Exam Prep - this book is really advanced and the simulation exams' structure is similar what you are going to face in the actual PMP exam
4. PMStudy, PMZilla book, and PMP Exam Simulator. I did almost 2000+ questions (...deep fried brain..of course). Here, I learned how to manage my time in answering 200 Q's in 4 H's.
For those who are aiming for this exam, I believe you will pass if and only if you practice, practice, and practice!
God bless everyone!

thanks a lot
thanks sir admin. actually, i've been also a silent reader for this site. for those who didn't make it on their first attempt, do not surrender nor quit, stay focused, and be challenged. Focus and study more on the PG which made you fail.
