Unable to understand the Excercise titled "Fence 2" on Page 246 of Rita's PMP book.

Hi,


I am unable to understand the solution to the problem. is the data from "Fence 1" to be used in this excersie. its not mentioned anywhere the percentage completion for Side 3 and 4 but in the solution it assumes that 75% of side 4 is complete. am i missing something?

 glad to know that I am not the only one :-) . Let me know if you were able to figure out how the EV was calculated .  I also have hard time understanding the logic behind the ES, EF in network diagrams ( though I had differet but vald approach I was tought in the training) .
