The True Passing Grade
I don't claim to know what the actual grade percentage needs to be, however since I have a passing report with an explanation of grading, and there is a poster who pass by seemingly a hair (not a knock, just that it seems he barely passed...honest congrats mate!!! A pass is a pass!!!). I am posting this for information only, and his pass result ends up being very good information for us to evaluate passing requirements.
Based on my passing report and it's explanation of the results, and the poster in another thread who received a passing grade with 3 below proficients and 2 moderately proficients, I have come to the conclusion the passing grade is still very similar to what it was prior to 2005.
My passing report says verbatim:

Understanding You Exam Results
Your exam results are reported in two ways:
1. An overall pass/fail result score is generated based on the number of questions you answered correctly.
2. The second level of results is the assignment of one of three proficiency levels to each domain.
- and then some bullet details about P, MP, and BP grades within each domain.
/end
Read #1...There is simply a pass/fail requirement based on number of questions answered correctly....There is NO failure because you scored too many BPs...if you have 1 question more than the required minumum you pass no matter what your proficiency in each process group.
The grading of your proficiencies in each process group is for YOUR information only so you understand your strengths and weaknesses.
Since the poster in question got 2 MP and 3 BP, that indicates to me that the score is likely to be in the 60s and 70s range...or at least which neighborhood.
EDIT: FYI, I am asking for a scanned copy of his pass report to verify his passing with those proficiency levels, yet it is still fascinating.

Hi,
Is it true that at the end of the exam, the result won't appear immediately in the prometric test center?

Thanks!.
Apparently, I was misguided by some blog posts explaining a transition phase of the new exam (last year, 2011, between august and october) as in those cases the result of the new exam didn't show up immediately. Now, it's as you says.
