Test scoring - below proficient, moderately proficient, proficient - Any idea what that means
I passed my PMP exam this morning, but am baffled by the way they score it. Any idea what below prof, moderately prof, and proficient translate into as far as percentages? Not sure I understand all the secrecy about it. Ok, it is nice put everyone on equal footing and scoring well on a test says you are good at taking a test (but not necessarily at applying things in real life), but just as a matter of really understanding my strengths and weaknesses, how well I know the material, and some pride/vanity - I would like to even know the ranges they translate into.
Given 61% is passing for the test, I surmize below 60% could be below proficient (not that I had any of those). But is moderately proficient say from 60-80% and proficient 80%+ ??
Thanks!
Rich
