I know this question has been asked previously and i did a search on pmzilla but could not find a convincing answer.

Which conflict technique has the least result ? Is it forcing or withdrawing ? Some books say forcing and some sites say withdrawing, pmbook has no preference. If a question is asked on test, which is the best to answer ?
