Shall I Go For third Attempt of PMP certification

Dear All,

 

I did two attempt with lots of lot preparation , But hard luck or lack of Proper planning i failed ,

 

for third attempt i'm thinking either i have go for it or Not becouse again it matter to Time & cost for me.

 

Any Advice ..Please

You need to prepare well , there is no hurry in taking the 3rd attempt

You should give your 3rd try by all means but this time you have to be organized, planned , dedicated, focused and above all belief in yourself.


Share summary of your previous preparations like what you studied and your mock test results. I am sure you'll get very good advice here.


PMP is not tough, we make it tough by doing unorganized study, referring lot of material, confusing ourself with all the advice. All it needs is 2-3 resources(pmbok, Rita and third could be your choice) at maximum, limited Mock tests and understanding of the material and flow.


My experience has been that doing tons of Mocks and attempting every possible free exam is not very helpful. Balanced amount of Mocks and digging deep on why you answered a question wrong, will help you a lot.

yes you are right , i did solid studies BUT the point was  i took too many mock test and got confusion.

 

Now i started reading once again PMBOK and Rita and i wil stick to them and i'm planning to write an exam on JUNE 2013.

 

Is there anybody who can share with me latest & udated Mr.Rajeshs Notes (email ID shafe1@live.com).

 

I'm very thankful to one & all , i need moral support from Admin and other friends.

Hi Shafe,

I am in the same boat, failed twice and is perparing again for a third time, its hard know you came close twice and didnt get it.... May 15 2013. I have invested lots of time and money so far and wont be giving up. This time I will get it but has they all say stick to the study plan and read the mock questions you got wrong to see weakness.               My advice for you is Please read only PMBOK line by line and Rajesh Nairs Notes and Ragas notes and try for some Mock exams. This time you shall definetly clear the exam. All the best.Looking farward to hear that you have cleared PMP.
