Hi All

This question is mainly for those who have passed their exam's recently or in the past.

When do you think one should start taking these free or paid mock tests before the actual exam.

Thanks

Prashant

Hi Prashant,

I really cant say when to start as it is, for sure, people centric. I say people centric, what can you say when people say I passed in 15 days, 10 days, et al. However, one should start mock-tests after having one full reading of PMBOK coupled with Rita or Head1st or any book of choice done.

Yes, I can say DEFINITELY say when not to take? 48 hours or two days before actual exam, NO!

Warmly, KK...

My advice is: read PMBoK and Rita's, and take notes. Then, you must begin to take all questions that you can.

Don't take the exam before your score be over 80%.

I advice you these questions: http://www.pmtraining.es/indexPMPQuestionsLite.htm

Best regards

There is not very concrete answer for it, however as I say, there are 2 stages:

1. Learning
2. Verifying your preparations

You should put majority time in learning i.e. reading 1/2 reference books with PMBOK couple of time. You must take chapter end questions from the reference books and it adds lots of values. Once you feel confident with your knowledge acquired, you should move to mock test.

Never take mock test questions for learning purpose, it should be just used to judge your preparation and identify your gaps. The most ideal time to get into mock test is 20-30 days before your actual PMP exam.
