Question on Warranty
Your project, run for a customer, is coming to an end. The customer has been contractually granted a three years warranty period for the product of the project. What should you do first?
1 Hand all relevant documentation over to the organizational unit responsible for handling the warranty.
2 There is no additional work to be done. The contract should describe all processes in sufficient detail.
3 Changes on the product can affect warranty clauses. Ensure that these clauses are aligned with the final specifications.
4 According to many legislations, you cannot formally close a project before the end of the warranty period.
Guys,
Answer 1, sounds really good to me, because you want to give the documentation to the team who support the Warranty but it's seems not.
any advices on this question?

I would go with option # 2 -
I would go with option # 2 - There is no additional work to be done. The contract should describe all processes in sufficient detail.
Here is my take on this question -
1. All the project related paper work will be stored in project file and customer will prepare SOW to hand over warranty contract for 3 years.
2. This options seems more appropriate as contract contains SOW and this will provide the details to the team as to how to go about handling this warranty period. Also there is no mention in the question that the same project team is taking care of warranty period.
3. Product validation will be done before validate scope period and once customer accepts the product no more changes to the product are done. This option is ruled out.
4. This may be true but there is no mention about such thing in the question so I'm eliminating this option. Let me know the correct answer.

Aaah, this "first".
Aaah, this "first".
1 is absolutely right.
But it looks to me that they mean the product itself has chaged. And PM has to do 3 first
