I have found the below question in few sources and each seem to have a different answer. A team is in performing stage and a new person joins

I have found all below options as answers. Can anyone suggest which is right?

1)Will the team go back to storming stage?
2)Will the team move to norming stage?
3) or will the team be not affected and only the new person will pass through the stages?
