You are the project manager working on a research project for a new drug treatment. Your preliminary project schedule runs past the due date for a federal grant application. Is it A.

B.Fast track - no because parallel activity not being run.

C.Resource Levelling  - no because,  you are getting extra resource from R &D department, it is not being adjusted within you available.

D.Adj resource calendar  - your resource have not implied here.

A. It would be Crashing  - because you are behind schedule, and 2 resources you are getting as Manager has been agreed to give you for specific activity completion. It is clear that his purpose is to getting permission in time, his pupose is not that he is finding his resources surplus. Hence It sn an schedule compression by CRASHING the path/activity.
