Project Management Process Items

I am going through Rita M's 6th edition book. The third chapter on Project Management Process has so many sub-items listed under each process e.g Project Planning process has 35 subitems. Project Execution process has 47 sub-items.

For the exam purpose are we supposed to memorize all the items under each category? How are you dealing with those lists?

 Dont try to memorize anything in the first round of reading. As you read subsequent chapters  you will start understanding
