You are working as project manager in an Aerospace Firm and you are currently given in charge of manufacturing a new technology airplane which can cover 1500KM per hour. You are currently updating your risk register and adding priority and urgency values to the risk. You find two risks Risk A with Medium Priority ,High Urgency and Risk B with High Priority and Low Urgency. Which of the above risks you should take care first?
A) Risk B
B)Risk A
C)both should be given equal precedence
D)None of the above

Yes, you are right. Actually
Yes, you are right. Actually I have chosen option A i.e., High Priority.
As per Risk Urgency Assessment, high urgency is right.
I would like to know the difference between high priority and high urgency risks.

The manager is "adding
The manager is "adding priority and urgency values to the risk". Let's try to do what the PM is doing:
Let's assign Low = 1, Medium = 2 and High = 3
For Risk A, the numbers will be 2 & 3. 2+3 = 5
For Risk B, the numbers will be 3 & 1. 3+1 = 4
Risk A has a higher score, so we address it first.
Alternatively, per the question, Risk A is more Urgent, hence we tackle it first. (Urgency - related to TIME, Priority - related to IMPORTANCE).
