Dear Friends,

Please find below the list of prepration topics which can be done or skimmed before appearing for the exam.These topics  you can give additional imp along with your own study plan for your exam preparation.

Please expect minimum 10 questions from this topic. Eg Organizational Theories, Conflict, Powers of PM

2.) Time Management- Critical Path and Critical Chain, Leads and Lags (When and how it can be used). Network Analysis,  Resource Levelling and Schedule Compression. Head First PMP is a good source to undesrtand the concept of Network Analysis.

3.) Communication- Communication Models and Communication Methods must read along with understanding of inputs and Outputs for Executing Process and Intiating Process.

4.) Quality- Cost of Quality - Cost of Conformance ( Prevention & Appraisal Cost)  and non conformance (Internal & External failure cost), All Tools and Technique for Quality iAssurance is must read and understand diffrence between Precision & Accuracy and Quality & Grade.

5.) Scope-  Decomposition, Variance Analysis, WBS and Group Decision Making Techniques

6.) Inetgration - Everything is important along with ITTO's.

7.) Cost- EVM, TCPI, Variance Analysis, Forecasting. Please remember most of the time the questions are simple and straight forward so for these questions take your time and try not to read in between the lines or get confused. Each Questions could be solved within max 2 mnts (Provided you know all the formulas or if you have written on your Dump paper), if your are spending more than that then be relaxed and try to undesrtand what the question is asking.

8.) Procurement- Contract types, PTA and for which contract type it is used, T & T for all the process of procurement where you have to understand what each Technique is used for If you could understand the importance of each Technique and how it can be used automatically you will know which process it will fall so no need for memoroization of T&T ( By the way its same for all Knowledge Area )

9.) Risk- You have to understand when Qualitative Risk Analysis is used and Quantitative Risk Analysis is used.

10.) Professional Ethics & Responsbility-  I would suggest a must read for every one to understand whom the code applies, Aspirational and Mandatory conduct, Responsbility, Respect, Fairness and Honesty. Its better to read it from PMI website http://www.pmi.org/About-Us/Ethics/~/media/PDF/Ethics/ap_pmicodeofethics.ashx

One more important thing during the exam when you come across Network diagrams or any other daigrams depicited as a question, please note that you could see only 2 or 3 options on your screen. Do not get alarmed , on the left side of your screen you can see scroll bar where you can scroll down see the other options. Sometimes we are very much sure about the option to be selected and do not care to scroll down to see the other option, please donot make this mistake.
