Q 1 ) You are in the 'Define
Q 1 ) You are in the 'Define Activity' process,
It means - You have the Project Charter. You have the Requirement Documentation and RTM. You have the Scope Statement. And you have the WBS and WBS dictionary.
When you were decomposing the Work Packages further into activities, you realized that some deliverables are missing in the Scope Statement.
My first reaction as a project manager - Is this a typo ? Or someone accidentally deleted the work package from the scope statement. Or is it an older version of the Scope Statement ?
Let's trace it. I will look into WBS & WBS Dictionary. I will also look into the Requirement Documentation and RTM. I will also look into the version of the scope statement.
The order is going to be -
1) Look the version of the Scope Statement - Need the latest and approved version.
2) Review the latest and approved WBS and WBS Dictionary .
3) Review the Requirement Documentation/RTM.
Scope baseline is a very significant collection of important documents. It contains WBS, WBS Dictionary and Scope Statemnt. Something can not just disappear from the Scope Statement.
In the project, everything funnels through the Project Manager.

Q 2) Choice 1, 2 and 4 are
Q 2)
Choice 1, 2 and 4 are the appropriate choices. I will not say that Choice 3 is totally wrong.
After all, HR Mgmt Plan gives me resource histogram. And it also has information about the market condition on labor rate under EEF which i will also use in Estimate Cost process.
Resource Histogram from HR Mgmt Plan can also impact the lead and lag on the activities, but, that issue gets resolved in Resource Calandar.
And, Resource Calandar is the input for Estimate Activity Resources. And Activity Resource Requirements are the input for the HR Mgmt plan.
This one is really hard to pick.

Hi Phil Stinnet,
I agree with your answer on Q2.
Choices 1,2 and 4 having back bone of Activity Durations and Activity Resource requirements. Where as 3 does't.

Hi Phil Stinnet,You miss
Hi Phil Stinnet,
You miss understand the question No.1. The question says ..you realize that certain deliverable are missing from the define scope process... Here missing from the define scope process means not disaapeared. Totally forgotten to consider into Scope.
This is the planning stage, Scope Base lines are created and got approved.
While in Define activities, they found it has missing. Still final pm plan not yet ready.
The choice 1 is not advisable.
The Choice 2 is wrong without adding to WBS/WBS Dictionary.
The Choice 3 is applicable only while in Excecuting and M&C.
The Choice 4 is resonable.
