PMP Preparatory Tips

Did you believe..?? That I postponed my PMP exam dates, almost 6 times since July '10, due to busy work schedules and 17th May 2011 my registration with PMI was  getting expired..!! So thought, it’s my last chance.. Took a break from work for almost 3 to 4 days in the recent past and DID IT on 10th May 2011..

My two cents on preparation..

·         Thorough reading of Andy Crowe for a couple of times along with its exercises

·         Reading PMBOK a day before the exam

·          Taking final exam from Andy Crowe on the day before (with reconciliation of mistakes/gaps)

·         UNDERSTANDING 42 processes (not by heart..).. Why, When, What, Where & How ??

·         Observation of the common pattern of expectations out of a PMI’s PM

·         Little more concentration on the formulae from Cost Management

·         Few sample test online (not complete tests)

·         Last but not the least, the “Velociteach” online tutorial is pretty good for a quick revision after reading Andy Crowe (at least when you lay down on the bed, after a hard day of work).. J

All the best guys.. Wishing you all success and smiles..

Best regards,
